I own the SAP MM and material-master governance (MDG) solution on an enterprise S/4HANA system, and I write the classic ABAP behind it every day. These are not two jobs. Owning how the system runs purchasing and material master, and building the enhancements and integrations that make it work, is one job, on one system.

What I own is the system underneath the process: how purchasing and material master are configured, coded, and kept consistent on a company-wide ERP that thousands of people across the domestic operation and its overseas subsidiaries rely on every day. I implement what the business and the data owners need, and I decide how it gets built. I run that on one principle: standard first. I reach for the SAP standard before anything custom, and I keep custom code and core modifications to a last resort. That is what keeps the system upgrade-safe and stable, not luck.

Knowing the modules at that level means I fix the real problem instead of working around it. I cleaned up import GR/IR where the invoice arrives before the goods, so the postings reconcile the way they should. I rebuilt SAP Easy Access so users stop losing time just navigating to their transactions. I have also worked S/4HANA across its full lifecycle: greenfield build, daily operations, and optimization, including the move up from ECC 6.0. Knowing the standard that well is what tells me when to configure, when to enhance, and when to leave the core alone.

When the standard genuinely cannot reach, I extend it. Standard PFCG could not assign roles in bulk, so I sat in the debugger, worked out how the standard program behaves, and built a tool that lets business leads provision roles themselves, applied the moment they save. The tool extends the standard rather than replacing it. That same building habit goes beyond SAP: right now I'm building our IS team's internal operations portal in Spring Boot and React, and I shipped a seven-language web service in about a month.

I am looking for SAP MM or MDG work where I own the solution and bring the building side with me, permanent or contract. What I care about most is getting the system and the data right, and keeping something thousands of people depend on steady and clean.
